Wow. Here I am at the end of this adventure. I’d say time flew by, but honestly I lived every day to the fullest. With a wonderful and energetic baby being cared for, with many projects ahead, but mostly some different symptoms specific to pregnancy otherwise, but not encountered with Rareș and with an unexpected pandemic, this pregnancy really was a real adventure. I’ve told you in previous texts how the 1st and 2nd trimester experience was, so without going on too long, I’ll get straight to our topic today.
Let’s start with the first chapter 😀
Sport.
My tummy, not quite the little tummy anymore, so the sports part, has changed during this time. Coincidentally or not, in the 3rd trimester I reached the measurements I had with Rareș, but I always had the impression that I was bigger and moving a little harder. It seems that only the shape is different, I don’t know if it has to do with the sex of the baby, or if it’s the second pregnancy, or chance… However, I have still managed to get moving ( so far ) and have uploaded a few videos to my YouTube channel. I ran until my 8th month, but so easy and short distances, I did a lot of stretching, cycling, different exercises, which I shared with you. In the last hundred meters we also introduced swimming. All this squeezed in between his sleep and the chores I had to do.

Besides, I’m not complaining, because although I inevitably compared my two pregnancies, I’ve now made the most of every moment with Raresh, he’s at the period where he starts to talk, to understand you, to listen, and it’s wonderful to discover so much wisdom, energy, curiosity and kindness in a little man.
Exercise in the third quarter is the most changed. The intensity is lower, the difficulty of the exercises, the duration of the workout. I’m very comfortable with the stretching part. After week 30, I started having back pain, joint pain…pretty bad. With the first pregnancy I didn’t feel that at all. I’ll leave you here a link with the exercises I did during my pregnancy. On my youtube channel, you can find more videos, so enjoy 🙂

Of course, I say this again: every pregnancy is different and it’s very important to take into account what the doctor who monitors your pregnancy advises and how you feel 🙂
Otherwise, my pregnancy went well, I feel fine. Sometimes I forget I’m pregnant, especially when I’m holding Rareș (see main picture ), even though I know I should avoid it, but I can’t help it.
I missed the massage. With Rares I used to do at least one a week, and now I have managed to do 2 in 9 months.
Symptom.
At night it’s more difficult, because my whole sleeping side goes numb, and when I try to turn over, it’s a real challenge (yes I use a pregnancy pillow, the one I had in my first pregnancy) , it’s better with it, but I still can’t find the right position. I woke up a few nights with cramps in my calf. Pain like I’ve never felt before, so the doctor prescribed magnesium and in the last month she also gave me iron. These are the only medications I took during my pregnancy. Oh and folic acid of course, also on the doctor’s recommendation. After my first calf carcel, I woke up with varicose veins on my calf. It’s also genetic, because my mother has it. But after I give birth and see during breastfeeding what I’m allowed to do and what I’m not allowed to do, I’ll get serious about it. Here if you have any recommendations, I would be very grateful if you could share them with me 🙂
Until another time, I got compression stockings and wear them from time to time + local massage.
Food and extra kilos.
In this respect, I am the best. After the second trimester “escapes”, or rather a combination of healthy and indulgence, I now feel the need for only nutritious, healthy, fresh meals. I also eat much less. I seem to get full faster, I get hungry harder, etc. All the women used to tell me even in my first pregnancy, that in the 3rd trimester I would explode, that’s when you put on the most pounds. I didn’t. In both pregnancies, the 3rd trimester was the lightest in terms of extra kg and food.
Since I can give birth anytime, I also did my last weighing (about one a month I did, not more often). Ironically, I have the same measurements (hip, thigh , belly) as Rareș, but I gained 12 kg vs 10,5. Cellulite is also present on the buttocks and hips, but stretch marks are out, which is great. That’s thanks to eating balanced, taking in extra, a normal no of pounds ,hydrating, exercising and used creams morning and night 🙂 The cellulite will slowly disappear once I recover and I can resume more serious workouts.
Right now I’m working online and with moms, and I’m so glad to see healthy habits becoming a lifestyle for them too.
Every time I eat a meal, I think that my baby is also fed with the same thing, so for me pregnancy has never been an excuse to stop taking care of myself. On the contrary 🙂

Where am I born?
Just like my first pregnancy, I chose the Regina Maria maternity hospital. I feel safe here, from the front desk, to every office, analysis, doctor, nurse I interact with. 🙂
Of course I opted for natural childbirth, also with Dr Carmen Constantinescu. We make a good team. I remember when she told me 2 years ago after the first consultation after birth: Anca you’ll see that the second one will be better/easier 🙂 🙂 and here we are at that moment. Who knew 😀
Pfff. I’m not lying to you. I’m nervous, but I try to be strong and to charge myself with good energy, especially as we are living in different times because of this virus.

My husband will no longer be able to be with me in the delivery room. Recognize. It saddens me a little, but I accept the situation and try not to think about what the UN has in front of it these days. My biggest wish is to hold my baby girl to my chest after she comes into the world, meaning to get the results of Covid 19 while I am in labor. This time I don’t mind enduring the pain any longer 🙂
All in all it was a beautiful journey and this task, with intense experiences, much love and the blessing of yet another heart beating inside me. It’s a unique feeling and even though I’ve been through it before, the experiences were just as intense. Rares I always tell him that I have a baby in my tummy, he even started calling him “darling darling” and calling him by name. My heart is growing.
I talk to my little girl all the time, just like I did with Rares. I feel such a connection with both kids. I am the most fulfilled and happy 🙂
I can’t wait for her to come into the world and make our lives even more colourful. I know it will be harder, but both Dragos and I wanted this and we are willing to make every effort to raise our children together. The grandparents will be there for us when we need them, of course, but we want to be the ones to give them the education and time they need. So much for my experiences from this pregnancy.
See you soon. Very soon, because it’s a little while before I give birth and then I’ll tell you how our little girl came into the world 🙂
Live active and healthy,
